Mom & Kids KOTAGRH , I decided to go at the very first the moment I had learnt about this trip. Amazing experience in many ways. I was dead sure what I was getting into and how meaningful it would be for my 6 years old daughter. More So, I roped in one of my friends with her son to have this wonderful experience in Himalayas . Trip offered us a true genuine homestay experience with a touch of warm magic. A cherry farm visit was planned for kids which was a great experience .Cherry picking directly from farms has its own charm. It was real fun and my daughter was thrilled with so much joy while experiencing it. My daughter also went for her first trail experience along other kids near Hatu peak in majestic Himalayas. The trail had a magical oak forest and high altitude meadows. Kids enjoyed landscape painting and we mothers enjoyed our gossip sessions while enjoying beauty of Himalayas. While coming back from Hatu peak, it was an amazing experience to sit and eat hot Maggi amidst mountains .Not to forget, a day prior to trail, kids completely adored camp hosting and decoration competition too.
I did the Mural Danda trek and it was awesome. This is just the right choice for beginners in average shape and without any prior education in survival sports. Even though we met a number of unexpected circumstances (rain, storm, dried out water source etc.), the highly educated and physically prepared team did everything for everyone to be safe and to do things according to their level, including kids of 10 years old and absolute beginners
It is worth noticing, that they do everything possible to select routes that are off the mainstream trekking (which allows to have the right feeling of being alone in the mountains) and to keep the groups of average size, which promotes the right atmosphere of friendship and mutual support.
